RosiPati Art+Design is named in honor of my mom who would have loved this website, as she has passed away.
She called me Rosi Pati, which is short for Rosa Patricia.

It has been a long winter with many changes for me and my work, as I am continuing to craft and change the website for RosiPati Art+Design.

On a personal note, it’s been a year since my dad passed away and that is on my mind.

After a slow turn the year, here I am a year later with a new website, being represented by Constance Kay of NYC, returning to the depth of my work, and looking to return to my authentic self.
When one says the word authentic it already sounds phony.

Making art is a strange profession so surreal in an abstract way.

Much like researching math problems… applicable to many other areas, and maybe even solving problems in daily life. In that way making art requires a very abstract mind, at least for me.

It is the research in the depth of my brain, spirits, and life experiences distilled into something visual that may or may not make sense to someone else.

It is my way to connect to another human, to elevate the spirit?
To offer refuge from the toils of life. To create a question, to inspire someone to follow their own path.
