I get that question a lot about my work and when i saw Frank Gehry ‘s face when asked that same question about his work…i thought i am in good company….he seem slightly annoyed and gave a very short response like fish are architectural ….i thought there a millions reasons to paint and or make fish representations
The most honest answer is “I dont know “ it makes sense …..they carry all eternity inside them and all evolution from the beginning…they are great travelers of an unknowable world ….they add a great sense of movement to the painting …they serve as my avatars traveling where i cant go …it is the mystery of it all .
