One of my big accomplishments of this year was to take walks in the morning to let my mind wander and take photos of whatever my mind wanted to engage with.
The process of stopping to capture an image is a process of slowing down, standing still, letting the future image wander in my brain for a bit, framing it in mind, and then taking the picture.
Sometimes it’s better than imagined and other times worse.

Capturing an image and making it into something else is a very strange activity, one that causes to stand still, observe and dream of a vision.
Sometimes when it all works well I have a photo that shows me something I had not seen, those are happy moments.
Of course that can go either way, it can also be something that’s sticking out not in a good way.

So my morning walks served as way more than exercising and breathing, they allowed my mind to wander while standing still in time.
